In exciting news, we're pleased to announce that CMYK Bar in Wimbledon will sponsor London Falcons FC from the 2019/20 season.
CMYK opened in March and has proven to be a very welcome addition to the London LGBT scene. Open until late each night and with happy hour drinks every day of the week, its location close to South Wimbledon and Wimbledon stations has been a hit with those looking for a drink in more comfortable surroundings, featuring entertainment from some of the city's leading drag performers.
The sponsorship deal will see CMYK's logo appear on new home, away and training shirts for the Falcons. The club's new chairman, Pete Ransom, offered his thoughts: "We're really excited to be partnering with Steve, Charlie and the CMYK team. We've really enjoyed our nights in the bar in recent weeks and it's a natural home for the boys after our Saturday games in and around the Wimbledon area. The venue has a lot of potential and we're looking forward to helping to promote them over the coming year."
"I'd also like to place on record our sincere thanks to Steve Wardlaw and Emerald Life for their sponsorship and support over the past two years. Their financial assistance two years ago came at a crucial time for Falcons and we wouldn't have been able to progress the club anywhere near as far without them."
Steve Sotiriou, who owns CMYK, added, "CMYK is a brand new bar catering for the LGBT community in south west London. We're very keen to let everyone know about us - not just in London but throughout the country - and partnering with London Falcons helps us to do just that. I'm a big football fan so am delighted to sponsor the team and we're looking forward to the boys running out in their new CMYK shirts in Wimbledon next season."
The new kits will make their debut in Rome when Falcons participate in the 2019 Eurogames.
