Player of the Month: Paddy

Three goals in as many appearances were enough for Paddy to pick up September's Player of the Month award.

Paddy joined the club a year ago but and made a immediate impression as a substitute against Romans last October. Unfortunately, both injuries and competition for places mean he's not had a consistent run of games since then. However, he had a storming performance at centre mid in the GFSN Cup win against Mersey at the start of the month and he'll likely remind you that he would have had a goal if it hadn't been for Chris pinching in front of him.

A further goal followed in the opening league match of the season before his double against Stonewall gave us a point in an otherwise disappointing team performance. With another strike in early October, Paddy has made a strong start to the campaign. Now we just have to convince him to come to Paris in August!

September's close player vote also saw multiple nominations for Kieran (who had a storming match against Mersey) and Ben Morgan who impressed in his two appearances on the right. There was also a vote for cup hero Cal who is enjoying his first season with the Falcons, and for Chris who has picked up from where he left off last season by banging in the goals.

October features two tournaments, an away trip to Muswell Hill and a home GFSN Cup tie against Leftfooters.
