After stumbling at the quarter final stage for the past two years, Falcons will travel to face neighbours Stonewall FC in the pick of the GFSN Cup Semi Finals on Saturday March 5th.
We've had a pretty intense route to this stage, with two trips to Leeds resulting in a 3-2 win over Yorkshire Terriers and an 8-2 triumph over Leftfooters. Stonewall saw off HotScots 4-0 at home back in August before defeating Birmingham Blaze in the quarter finals.
There's a lot of interest in this fixture, with several former Falcons expected to feature in the Stonewall side, including Kieran, Leon and Spencer. For our part, Pete and Ian will continue to traverse the two sides by turning out for Falcons.
Stonewall will also be looking for revenge after Falcons defeated them on penalties in the semi final of the London Titans Tournament back in October.
